Advanced Tech course taught by Clay Neal [W 2024]. Folder is comprised of imagery made up of construction detailing and modeling.
Work is focused on retrofitting the Edwin M Lee Apartments by LMSA in San Francisco with CLT mass timber in the place of wood stud framing employed in the construction of the existing building.

Experimental studio course integrating local construction of living infrastructure systems with existing infrastructure. Drawing inspiration from natural patterns, particularly the morel fungus, the infrastructure is meant to be an expansion system.
The proposal centers on applying this concept in the Hayden Gallery at Lawrence Hall, juxtaposing nature with man-made infrastructure. Project development includes Grasshopper and MEW printing, physical planting, 1:1 model construction, and exploration of potential future use of living infrastructures.
